Zach and Gracie always knew of each other. Growing up in the same small town and attending the same small school, their paths crossed a few times—but fate had bigger plans. In 2021, Gracie began working at the River Store at the Landing, where she made lifelong friends, including Timberly. For Timberly’s 21st birthday in July, Gracie helped plan a party with matching outfits. That night, she and Zach truly connected for the first time. The next day, they added each other on Snapchat, began chatting, and soon started making plans to hang out. On July 19, they went floating together and shared their first dinner date at The Blue Heron, a spot that would become special to them. That evening, they spent hours talking in Zach’s green truck—without AC in the summer heat! They quickly grew inseparable, spending every night together, sharing stories, and building their connection. On July 30, Zach officially asked Gracie to be his girlfriend, marking the start of their love story. Over the next year, their lives blossomed. Gracie moved home from college, they got an apartment, adopted their dog Kai, and then came a life-changing surprise: On August 30, 2022, Gracie discovered she was pregnant. While unexpected, it brought new purpose to their journey together. On May 1, 2023, they welcomed their son, Walker Beau-Davis Gower—a perfect blessing who taught them patience, strength, and resilience. From that moment, their focus became building a life filled with love and stability for Walker. In December 2023, they bought their first home, transforming it into a place filled with love and precious memories. Watching Walker grow there has been their greatest joy. Then, on August 20, 2024, Zach proposed to Gracie in the most thoughtful way. After sending her flowers at work, he planned a dinner date at The Blue Heron—the site of their first date. Later, they walked to Big Spring Park, where Zach got down on one knee and asked Gracie to marry him. It was a moment straight out of a dream. Now, as they prepare for their wedding, they’re also preparing for another incredible blessing—Baby Caroline, due in June 2025. Their growing family is a testament to the love they share, and they can’t wait to continue this journey together. Here’s to forever!
