Jake and Megan initially met through a mutual friend! They had been trying to get Jake to come hang out with them so Megan could meet him. After about a month of endless efforts they finally met! Jake didn't know that it was a secret interview by the girls at the time. Our first meeting spot was at Guu's bar in downtown Stevens Point, WI. Megan still remembers watching him walk in through the crowded bar with his friend and butterflies filled her up as she couldn't keep her eyes off of him! They continued to keep in touch and became close friends and eventually he asked her to be his girlfriend on April 22nd, 2012❤️ After almost 7 amazing years together, Jake proposed on November 24th, 2018. After discussing for a short while it was decided that because we both love Thanksgiving and Christmas that we should have our wedding 2 years from our proposal on the weekend after Thanksgiving! We couldn't be more excited to spend the biggest day of our lives together this far with the ones we love most. As most know us already, Jake is the head chef at Tine and Cellar restaurant in Weston, WI. Jake has been a professional chef since he was 19 years old. If you have had the opportunity to try his creations you know that he is very talented, passionate, and a dedicated chef. Megan is a Registered Nurse and works as an RN at the Aspirus Riverview Hospital in the outpatient surgery center currently. Megan has always been a people pleaser and loves helping others. Her dream is to work in an oncology unit to support those going through their darkest times and to bring some sunshine when they didn't think they could smile. We were grateful to unify our love and have a ceremony on November 28th, 2020. While we were extremely thankful for all that were able to attend, we are even more excited to celebrate with all our friends and family this year at the reception at the Rothschild Pavillion on November 27th, 2021.❤
