Question
How is Palos Country Club taking COVID precautions?
Answer
All tables inside the ballroom will be placed 6 ft apart with only 6 persons per table (8 for some families). Palos Country Club will provide an outdoor space for eating (if desired) under a small tent. Our venue will be cleaning all door handles and bathrooms every 30 minutes during the duration of the Gardner/McNamara wedding. Maura & Paul will provide hand sanitizer & masks to all guests. Masks are recommended but not required inside the private event ballroom. However, if you choose to walk elsewhere inside the premises of Palos Country Club the venue requires a mask to be worn.

Can I bring a guest?
Answer
Our seating is limited so we ask that no unplanned guests arrive. We will indicate on your invitation (sent out early spring 2021) the number of seats saved for you at our wedding reception. Thank you for understanding

Can I take/post pictures of the wedding on social media?
Answer
Please feel free to take and post photos from our wedding reception on your social media platforms using the hashtag #HappilyEverGardner so we can see all of the photos you share. We request you do not take photos at our wedding ceremony.

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?
Answer
We have carefully selected the most amazing photographer, Ruben from George Street Photos, to capture our big day. During the ceremony, we ask that all phones are silenced or shut off. Please respect our wishes and do not take pictures at our ceremony. You may see our family members on FaceTime with those members of the family who cannot make it to our ceremony (ex. grandparents) We look forward to you being fully present as we vow to spend the rest of our lives together.

After the ceremony where do I go?
Answer
After the ceremony, there will be a social time from 5:00-5:30 that is cash bar only while we take our professional photos with our family, the wedding party and eachother. Please bring your cash and help yourself to drinks and food at Murphys Pub inside Palos Country Club. You may also socialize outside on the patio. Don't worry, it will be an OPEN BAR beginning at 5:30 for cocktail hour!

What food/drinks will be served?
Answer
Appetizers and an open bar will begin cocktail hour at 5:30. Dinner will be served family style by Palos Country Club. Our menu is TBD. We will have an open bar that includes beer, wine, liquor and non-alcoholic options. The open bar will close during dinner. A TBD late night snack will be provided. Gluten Free cake will be available.

Is there parking for the ceremony/reception?
Answer
Parking is free at Palos Country Club. There are two big parking lots available directly next to the venue. I would recommend taking an Uber if you are staying in a hotel nearby.
