The Sheraton at the Capital is a full service hotel. There is a bar, restaurants, gym, pool & even a park for your enjoyment. Parking will be validated by the hotel & you will receive a discounted rate of $18 per day. It is within walking distance to many things downtown. We urge you to either use Uber or Lyft to attend the festivities. There is parking for the wedding, however the parking for the reception is very limited. Also, if you choose to drive, the walk from the parking garage to the venue is 2 blocks away & it is all uphill. Unfortunately, there is no street parking anywhere near the venue. The good news is that if you take Uber or Lyft, the fare is approximately $5.00 per ride. Garage parking: 100 spaces at The Quarters on 2222 Rio Grande St. will be provided. Hotel rooms need to be booked before 8/1/19. If the bride or groom has told you that they are holding a room under their credit card, please call or email Calisha Taylor ,ctaylor@sheratonaustinhotel.com, and have her switch your reservation over to your credit card by 8/1/19.
