We’re gettin Hitched!

It all started with a very persistent coworker. After I had recently become single, my coworker Ryan Ghormley kept insisting he had the perfect friend for me — someone who was “awesome” and, very importantly, completely obsessed with ice fishing. I wasn’t so sure. But Ryan didn’t give up. Then one day, I got a Facebook friend request from his “friend,” Rex Feller. Naturally, I did a little investigating… and after deciding he was pretty cute, I accepted. Soon after, Rex messaged me, “Ryan thinks we should meet.” And just like that, our story began. We went out to dinner for our first date and ended up talking for hours — mostly about fishing, of course. Conversation came easily, the laughs came naturally, and by the end of the night we were already planning date number two. For our second date, we planned to go swing dancing at The Jump… but once again, we got so caught up talking over dinner that hours flew by. On the drive home, we got pulled over for a headlight that was out — which could have made for a stressful ending — but somehow we ended up just dying laughing and now its one of our favorite stories. By the third date, there was only one logical activity: ice fishing. That might have been the day Rex realized this was something serious — because not only did I out-fish him, but I also proved that Drake was born to be an ice fishing dog. From that day on, we were hooked (pun fully intended). Since then, we’ve been inseparable — catching countless fish and building a life full of laughter, adventure, and stories we can’t wait to keep telling together.
