Yes, we've booked rooms at The Edgewood Resort. Please check the "accommodations" tab of our website for information on booking a room. There is a 2-night minimum stay and please book rooms by July 15th.
Guests will be transported onto the island by an Uncle Sam's Boat. This boat will pick up guests from the Uncle Sam's dock at 2:30 PM. The boat ride is about 5 minutes long. The boat will only be making one trip to Cherry Island. It is important you are on time. If you miss the boat, please call Phil at 315-439-1236.
Starting at 6 PM, the owner of the house/island, along with some others, will be available to individually transport guests on a boat right to the hotel, The Edgewood Resort. If you choose to leave the island before the reception ends at 10 PM, you can't have a transport back onto the island so make sure you really want to leave!
Update: YES! There will be transportation from Edgewood to the Uncle Sam's Dock for those who do not want to drive. The bus will be making multiple trips, just ensure you are at the dock prior to the boat departing at 2:15.
Guests will be transported to the island at 2:30 PM. The groom's entrance will begin at 2:45 PM. After the ceremony, we will immediately go into our cocktail hour. The reception will begin at 5PM. The reception will end at 10 PM.
Our ceremony and reception will be held on an island, Cherry Island, at the Casa Blanca House.
The dress code is dress to impress attire! Guests are also invited to wear Indian attire if they please. Some websites for attire are: G3 Fashion, Panash India, and Lashkaraa.
Unfortunately, due to a limited number of people we can invite to our wedding, we ask you do not bring a plus one unless a "guest" was indicated on your invitation.
Both the ceremony and reception will be held outdoors. We will also have tents up and available.
