**Brews: NoDa Brewing Company
So many breweries to choose from, but top to bottom, Noda is probably our favorite. We recommend: Hop Drop and Roll (2014 World Beer Cup Gold Award Winner), Jam Session IPA, or ask the staff!
**Brews: Triple C Brewing Company
The 3 C IPA was Mike's first favorite Charlotte beer. Always a go-to order. Golden Boy and Zest-a-Peel are delightful lighter ales.
**Brews: Catawba Brewing Company Charlotte
So many taps - any beer drinker can find something they like here!
**Brews: Suffolk Punch Brewing
Great beer, coffee, and food.
**Brews: Legion Brewing
2 locations - One smaller location in Plaza Midwood and a new larger location in South Park. Juicy Jay hazy IPA is crisp and refreshing.
**Fast Casual Food: Capishe: Real Italian Kitchen
PIZZA! Go for the San Lorenzo, and tell us how much you loved it.
**Fast Casual Food: Yafo Kitchen
Think Chipotle but with Mediterranean food. We usually get a bowl, load it up with spreads and toppings, and pretend we're healthy.
**Fancy Dinner: Bardo Restaurant
Bardo is our favorite Charlotte restaurant, but be aware that it is a small plate concept, and pricey. We love the octopus, the scallops, and, well - everything else. *Reservations likely required.
**Fancy Dinner: Peppervine
Peppervine is pricey, but you will not leave disappointed. Have the sommelier come over and walk you through the digital wine list. *Reservations likely required.
**Fancy Dinner: Soul Gastrolounge
If you go, know that they don't take reservations, but you can join the wait list from their website. PLEASE get the pork belly tacos. I (Mike) am telling you, it is one of if not the best single plate of food I have ever had. They also have great sushi and cocktails.
