We met briefly at work in May 2019 before David flew off to France for the rest of the year. We kept in contact through Skype talking about work, neither of us knowingly admitting there was something more to the daily contact. When David came back from France at the beginning of 2020, we started going places with our small group of friends - again not admitting to each other it was for us to spend time together. All of that came scratching to a halt in March of 2020 when the pandemic hit, and Tyler and her family accidentally put work into quarantine because her brother had a slight respiratory infection (no one knew what COVID was at this point...) Unbeknownst to a lot of people, we began talking every night on the phone to have some "normalcy" in our lives. Not too long after that, we began dating in one of the most hectic years any of us have ever had to endure. When we were able, we'd go on dates to our favorite place (and our wedding venue!) Wildflyer Mead, but mostly we were stuck just talking on the phone and Zoom every night. Fast forward to the start of 2021 - Tyler is at her house getting ready for bed when our dog, Bacce, decides to wrestle with a skunk. He made that whole house reek for days, so Tyler packed up a few things and went to David's house to get away from it all. Well those few things turned into a few more things, and a few days turned into where we're at now - planning for a wedding and a lifetime to grow and be happy together!
