Morgan and Amanda met through Phantom Regiment during the summer of 2012, although they didn't quite hit it off at first. During the summer of 2013 while Morgan was marching, Amanda would visit the corps from time to time and their friendship started to bloom. In 2013 Amanda came up to Show of Shows, that night started it all. They talked all night and Amanda even got Morgan to obliged her by going on a walk (even though she didn't want to). After that night, the two stayed in contact via social media. Then one fall night Morgan decided to call Amanda on FaceTime. What should have been a three-minute conversation turned into an hour-long conversation. Since that night they haven't stopped talking. A couple weeks later Morgan sent a text stating that she was falling head of heels for Amanda, but Amanda didn't respond to the text until hours later...which drove Morgan crazy. Amanda's simple text of "Keep Falling" sent Morgan into a Twitter frenzy and 'til this day has been the smoothest text Amanda has ever sent. Fast forward to New Year's Eve they sealed the deal, and finally officially started a long-distance relationship. Over the course of the next few years Amanda and Morgan were just like any other couple with the exception being 1,100 miles and a time zone apart. The two would frequently fly out to visit each other and in between trips stay in touch via Skype. All their friends and families thought these two were crazy, but if there was one thing they were sure about was just how crazy in love for each other they were. In 2016 Morgan moved across the country so the two could finally be together. Over the next year they adjusted to be a close distance relationship, but they decided they were ready to take the next step. Amanda got down on one knee and ask the big question during Morgan's favorite time of day with their city skyline in the background, and luckily for Amanda she said YES!
