We met on a dating app... so romantic, right?! My opening line to Sean was "Hey!" and Sean replied "Hey! What's up Jackie, how are you doing?" and the sparks flew! We talked for about a week before we planned to meet for the first time. We met for drinks and what should have felt like a nerve-wracking first date, felt like we had known each other forever. From that day on, we knew this was going to be something incredible. 4 years later, here we are planning our wedding!

On a Friday in April, I had a day off from work and wanted to go down to the beach and enjoy the sunshine with a good book. Sean also had the day off and was going to come along. We pack a beach bag, pack a cooler and head down to the beach. Little did I know, Sean had a ring in his pocket the whole time! We get to the beach and not only was it freezing cold, it was windy, cloudy and miserable. My first thought was to just pack it up and go home, but Sean was determined to make the most out of the day. We drove around for a while trying to figure out where to go, and Sean found us a beautiful waterfront park where we could spend the day. He asked me, "do you want to go walk around the park to see the rest of it?" and I said yes without even thinking anything of it. We walked around until Sean said, "let's take a picture here!" He propped his phone in a tree, set it selfie-mode, and what I thought was us just taking a picture, turned into a proposal! So intimate, so romantic, and such a surprise!
