We met as many of our closest friends have...in a bar over a pool game. We seemed to come together nicely like a perfect break and run! Over the last several years we have shared a love for billiards, camping, hanging out with family and friends and being L.O.W. riders. We realized after a while that we truly were meant to be in each other's lives and that GOD had a hand over both of us. We have helped each other become better people and in turn are better for one another. We share a level of love and respect that we have never had before. So many of our friends and family asked repeatedly when we would take that next step. The answer was always "eh, I don't know"

The weekend before Thanksgiving would be the one to change our lives forever. We got to SPI late that Friday but we weren't rushed in any way. The next day was perfect as we spent the whole day doing whatever we wanted. Later that night we decided to take a walk along the beach. It had been so cloudy that day but the sky was clear! You could see every star! The sounds and smells of the ocean set the perfect setting. Hand and hand we discussed how excited we had been for the wedding happening next door. Talks that maybe one day Nancy would like to have a beach wedding. As traditional but unconventional as we are, the permission from my mom and brother were very important to Nancy. She mentioned that she had already asked them. Being very confused because I had no clue what she was talking about I turned to ask her. As I turned she pulled out the ring and got down on one knee. She said " Will you marry me?" I couldn't believe it. I wasn't the most gracful of ladies at this moment but couldn't hide my excitement! Of course I said "YES!"

As we start a new chapter in our lives together we think back to everyone who has shared in our lives over the last few years. We have our family who have been supportive since day one. We have our LOW family who have allowed us to give back to our community and ride together. We have our pool family that always push us to be better than yesterday. We have our softball family who have shown us sportsmanship and acceptance. We have friends! Friends who let us know exactly what they think when they think it! Without each of you and your love, truth, honesty, acceptance and support our relationship and love would not be what it is today! So thank you all from the bottom of our hearts!
