Suzette and Abelardo (Abby) Marquez met while Abby was stationed overseas in Germany. Suzette was born and raised in Luxembourg which borders Germany. In 1968, she was working at her parents restaurant when in came a few rowdy American Airmen, Abby being one of them! They hit it off immediately and the rest is history! Married for 48 years, My parents are the perfect example of the type of love and commitment we hope to have. I love you both so much!!!!! Miss you Daddy! Abelardo Marquez better known as Daddy or Papa Mark to his grand kids, lost his fight with Cholangiocarcinoma on 8/11/2018. I know he will be watching from above, so let's do our best to make him proud i.e. lots of food, laughter, dancing and hugs!

Crisalida Campos was born and raised in the Dominican Republic. She currently lives in Miami, Florida where she raised her 3 children. She has a heart of gold and an unforgettable personality. Chris attributes his compassionate nature, tenacity, work ethic and perseverance to his mother.
