Most people know you spend about half of your life at work, right? Well, it should not come as a surprise that sometimes you may fall for one of your coworkers because at the end of the day, you see them ALL THE TIME! Many will advise against it- for obvious reasons. But when God has a plan, He will follow through with it, even if it takes many years and a rocky start to get there. We met at work while we were both in Chick-fil-A in 2016, but at the time we rarely had shifts together. It all started when one day I (Alexandra) became really annoyed at Jose because of a situation happening at work. He upset me so much that I chose to do the "mature" thing and asked to speak with him in private to address my concerns. During our conversation I became frustrated, agitated, you name it! I was telling him how I felt and all of a sudden, a smirk began to form on his face. I was bamboozled and confused, but I said my piece and walked out with my dignity intact. However, that day something changed in the way we looked at each other. It did however take years of growth and months of prayer, sacrifice, and intentional friendship for us to be where we are today. First and foremost, we thank and glorify God for giving us the gift of a lifetime with our best friend -each other. If it was not for His Grace, we would not be here today. And second, we are thankful to our family and friends who have been with us every step of the way, offering us love, guidance, and patience as we step into this new and exciting season of our lives. We are so excited to celebrate with you!
