Question

Will a shuttle be available?

Answer

Yes! We will have a bus shuttle from both hotels to the venue prior to the ceremony starting, and back to the hotels at the end of the night. Last shuttle will be at 11:45pm. The bus schedule is as follows: 3:00pm pickup at AmericInn Janesville 3:20pm pickup at Quality Inn Newville 3:40pm drop off at OTV for 4pm ceremony The bus will depart OTV at 9:45pm and 11:45pm.

Are children allowed?

Answer

Due to limited numbers, we hope you appreciate that children are only invited if named on your invitation. (Ex: "The Smith Family")

What time should I arrive?

Answer

The ceremony will start at 4pm. Guests can begin arriving at 3:30pm but please do not arrive any later than 3:45pm. Cocktail hour and reception will begin immediately following the ceremony.

Where will the ceremony and reception be located?

Answer

Both ceremony and reception are located at Over the Vines. The ceremony will be outside in the grass (unless there is inclement weather, it will be moved inside) and the reception will be in and around the barn.

Will there be food?

Answer

Yes! A dinner buffet will be served. Please reach out to us if you have any questions or concerns regarding the menu or dietary restrictions. Entrees - Glazed pork tenderloin with rice and Stuffed chicken breast Sides - Caesar salad, Roasted potatoes, Green beans, Mac & cheese, and Dinner rolls

Is there parking available on-site?

Answer

There is free parking on-site. Vehicles may be left overnight at OTV but MUST be picked up by 10am the next day or will be towed. OTV is not responsible for any items or vehicles left overnight.

What about alcohol?

Answer

Outside alcohol is NOT allowed on OTV premises - please adhere to this or we will be charged! There will be two fully stocked cash bars on site, with beer and wine complimentary to our guests until gone.

Are phones/cameras allowed?

Answer

During the ceremony we kindly ask that all cell phones and cameras be turned off and put away. Please allow our photographer to capture all of the amazing pictures she's hired for. During the reception, feel free to take as many pictures as you'd like. If you post them on social media, be sure to include #HappilyEverAstin

Can I bring a date?

Answer

In order to keep our guest list on track for budgeting and to accommodate the size of our venue, we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation.

What should I wear?

Answer

We hope our wedding will be a fun excuse to wear your favorite cocktail attire! However, please plan for any type of weather. The barn is NOT heated or air-conditioned.

Can we use the tree swing for photos at OTV?

Answer

Sorry but the swing is not for guest use. We will have a separate area designated for photo ops that we hope you'll have fun with!

Over The Vines is located at 1242 WI-73, Edgerton, WI 53534. To avoid late arrivals, please make sure to enter "State Road 73" in your GPS.
