Her Version: The most simple way to put it is, we met at the gym. I wasn’t looking to meet anyone and definitely not expecting it but life has a funny way of giving you what you need when you’re not looking. What started as me ignoring Patrick’s hello’s eventually turned into a simple “good morning” reply. Little did I know this would soon lead to chats about our day, our workout schedules, favorite foods and his love for his Mama. With some time, our gym friendship turned into group hangouts, random weeknight dinners together and constant communication. It didn’t take long for me to realize, I liked him.. a lot. That like turned into love and not wanting to know what my life was like without him in it again. Early on, I remember jokingly telling Patrick, “you look like trouble”. Thank God he was the good kind, I am lucky enough to marry. His Version: We met at the gym, where Emily kept to herself and didn’t seem too interested in conversation at first. But I made it a point to say good morning and hello whenever I saw her, and little by little, those small moments started to add up. Eventually, she opened up, and what started as simple greetings turned into real conversations I began to look forward to every day. From our impromptu day trips, and showing her around New Port Shores I slowly realized that no matter what we did I just wanted to do it with her. Even sharing the smallest moments felt special, I knew that marrying her would mean I got those for the rest of my life. From the gym to the alter and forever I can't wait to continue this life together
