We like to say we were always one degree away from each other—running in the same circles, knowing the same people—yet somehow never meeting until the timing was just right. In January 2020, a mutual friend finally connected the dots, and a simple Instagram message turned into our first date: a showing of Bad Boys for Life that had both of us laughing and letting our guard down. We ended up at dinner afterward, talking for two hours like we had known each other forever. From that night on, it was clear that God’s timing had brought us together exactly when we needed it most. By February 2020, we were officially together, and from there, everything just flowed. We fell in love quickly, building a relationship rooted in faith, friendship, and shared passions. As a musician and a visual artist, creativity is at the heart of who we are, but even more than that, we’re best friends who love God, our families, cheering on the New York Giants, and serving our community. Life hasn’t been without its challenges—we’ve walked through grief, career changes, and a pandemic—but through it all, we’ve grown stronger side by side. He keeps me grounded with his calm spirit, and I keep things lively as the social butterfly. He says his favorite thing about me is my smile, and I can’t get enough of his eyes. Together, we’ve found a love that feels both exciting and steady—and we can’t wait to spend forever building on it.
