We’re getting married!

Madison was was in-between semesters in nursing school. She and Erik had decided to go see his family in Tennesse for a short break. They had met up with his family at Myrtle Beach in South Carolina. While they were there, Erik told his mom and his sister that he was going to propose and showed them the ring. They were super excited! They had an exciting and eventful week at the beach. Once the week was over, they left to go back to Tennessee. One of the days, Erik and Madison were out running errands and Erik asked Madison if she wanted to get her nails done. Since she had to go back to school in a few short weeks, she told Erik there was no reason and it would be a waste to do so. Erik had to think fast because he knew if he proposed and Madison did not have her nails done, he would not hear the end of it! He convinced Madison to get her nails done by saying he would get a pedicure with her... this would be the first and last time Erik would get a pedicure to date! After they left the nail salon and both Madison and Erik have spiffy nails, Erik says to Madison "I think my sister wants to take pictures of us up on the beauty spot." Madison reluctantly said agreed to since she had less than an hour to get ready to catch the sunset. Once they got to the top of the mountain, the fog was so dense you could not see 10 feet in front of you. Erik and his sister, Katie, prayed and prayed for the fog to clear before the sunset. They stood on the mountain for what seemed like forever for the fog to clear. Katie tried to buy time by taking pictures of the two. Finally, at the last minute, God answered their prayers and the fog cleared. Erik got into position and kneeled. "What are you doing?" Madison asked. "Will you marry me?" Erik asked teary-eyed. The rest is history.
