Las Vegas Strip
Obviously, this is what most people think of when they think "Vegas"! Make sure you check into showtimes, club performances, etc. This is where you’ll find Hell’s Kitchen, Caesar’s Palace, and Paris hotel! You can take a gondola ride at the Venetian and watch the fountain show at the Bellagio outside!
Tuscany Suites & Casinos
We recommend this for some of the best locals’ music in town! You can see a great Rat Pack Show inside the Copa Room (tickets required), or go to the Piazza Lounge for FREE on Tuesday nights for America’s Got Talent winner, Michael Grimm’s, acoustic soul show. Seating is first come, first served at his shows!
The Linq Promenade
This is practically a Las Vegas boardwalk on the Strip connecting lots of activities, live performers, casinos, restaurants, games, etc. We recommend parking at the Linq or the Flamingo.
Miracle Mile Shops
If you want to stay indoors, you can get lost for hours in here. There are a ton of restaurants, shops, and things to do inside Planet Hollywood. **This is where Alex got his tattoo of Christine's name!
Margaritaville Restaurant- Las Vegas
We recommend going alllllll the way upstairs to their “Landshark Lookout” for great drinks, a great view of the Strip, and the best people watching experience in town!

Another one of our favorite date spots if you want a local’s bar with amazing food and comfy couches!
Distill - A Local Bar - Southern Highlands
One of our first & favorite date night spots! This is a local’s bar with super yummy food if you want non-Strip priced, late night snacks.
Fremont Street Experience
This area is the local’s version of the Las Vegas Strip! It is a lot of fun if you’re into eccentric street performers, greasy food, ziplining, karaoke, and don’t mind a more off-beat crowd! Park at one of the casinos downtown!
Lake Mead National Recreation Area Information and administrative offices
For those that like a more quiet scenery: You can see mountains, palm trees, snow, city skylines, and desert views all at once in our city! Lake Mead will be a bit cold to swim in at this time of year, but it’s the perfect temperature for hiking trails, and a more serene & nature-centric Vegas experience.
Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area
Red Rock is right outside of Las Vegas, but will have some of the best hiking views in the state! There’s also a great hotel/casino/resort/spa nearby called Red Rock Casino that we loveee.
Green Valley Ranch Resort Spa and Casino
One of our favorite locals' spots. It is a casino with great restaurants, pools, and a spa! It allows the Vegas experience without all the crowds and chaos of the Strip! This also has "The District" which has great live music, shopping, sip & paint art events, and restaurants!
Kids Quest at Sunset Station
We put this on here to remind people that kids are still welcome in Vegas, they just can’t stop and hang out on the gaming floor of casinos. There’s plenty of cool things to see like aquariums, conservatories, shows, themed restaurants, etc. Like Sunset hotel, most Stations Casino hotel brands have kids quest centers that will give your kids tons of fun things to do if you do want to indulge in some adult activities….like gambling!!!
Kids Quest at Green Valley Ranch
This is another Kids Quest location at a higher end hotel & casino. Lots of fun activities for the kids!
