On the mean streets of sunny Huntington Beach, Chad and Olivia met through mutual friends at a holiday rager. Through the maelstrom of Christmas lights and beer pong balls, they caught each other’s eye- chad, naturally not participating in the festive attire. Over the preceding months a friendship developed. Though one of those friendships where both parties find the other extremely attractive and it’s only a matter of time before something pops off. Sure enough, it did. Fast forward 3 years, Chad and Olivia are hiking through the wild jungles and white sand beaches of Costa Rica. Olivia, suspicious as always, spent the previous night tearing through Chad’s luggage, trying to find what she hoped would be an engagement ring. No such ring was found. So on a deserted beach that made you feel like you were living in Lord of the Flies, Chad got down on one knee and proposed to the girl that he always knew he’d spend the rest of his existence with. Now in the midst of a pandemic with numerous dates, venues and wedding changes, we’re finally tying the knot. Needless to say, we'll never be planning a wedding again.
