When should I RSVP?

Answer

We kindly ask that you submit your RSVP by April 1st. If you do not, it will automatically be marked as "Not Attending". We will miss celebrating with you but it is imperative we provide our vendors with a final guest count in the time they have given us. Thank you for understanding!

What is the dress code?

Answer

Dress to impress! Our recommended wedding attire is Spring/Summer Formal or Cocktail attire. Please no jeans/denim and avoid shades of white. The ceremony will be held outside.

What will the weather be like?

Answer

Typically early May weather in North Georgia is an average of 75 degrees Fahrenheit in the day and cooler in the evening.

Am I allowed to bring a plus one?

Answer

In order to keep our wedding as intimate as possible, only the guests formally invited on your wedding invitation will be accommodated. If you received a plus one they will appear when your RSVP

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We are asking guests to refrain from bringing kids unless otherwise states on the invitation.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Please arrive at least 30 minutes prior to the ceremony start time to find parking and your seat. The ceremony will begin at 5:30 pm so plan to arrive by 5:00 pm. Transportation from Kingwood will start promptly at 3:45 pm and the last shuttle will leave for the ceremony at 4:45 pm

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes! We have waited 2763 days for this- part accordingly! Transportation shuttles will be available to and from Kingwood Resort from 4:00 pm to 11:30 pm for your convenience. Please utilize these shuttles as the road into town can be quite windy. There will also be a shuttle to transport to any Air BNB/VRBO around Lake Burton or Downtown Clayton

Will transportation be available?

Answer

Transportation shuttles will be available to and from Kingwood Resort from 4:00 pm to 11:30 pm for your convenience. If using these, please be early for pick-up as the shuttles will last leave Kingwood for the ceremony at 4:50pm. If you plan to enjoy our lovely open bar, please utilize these shuttles as the road into town can be quite windy. There will also be a shuttle to transport any Air BNB/VRBO around Lake Burton or Downtown Clayton- please let Aubrey know if you would like pick-up prior to the ceremony.

Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

Our venue does offer free parking if you choose to drive. You may also leave your car overnight and utilize the transport shuttles home if needed without worry of towing.
