If you find yourself with a little free time (and maybe a thirst to quench), we highly recommend stopping by Vibrissa Beer in Winchester! It’s a special spot for us. Fun fact: this is where Mitch and I had our very first date. So if you visit we’d love to share another memory there with you!
We’re totally obsessed with Regions 117. Seriously, their food is awesome, the lake view is chef’s kiss, and we’ve made some pretty unforgettable memories there. Like, the kind of memories that don’t involve awkward small talk or regrettable dance moves (well, maybe a little).
Vault & Cellar in Middletown is a cozy spot with serious charm. Set in a historic old bank building with exposed brick vibes. They’ve got an amazing selection of bourbons (like, over 300), and the food? 10/10. Funny note: every time I hear “bricks” I can’t help but think of the legendary Kyle story. Don’t ask. Just... don’t.
If you want pizza without breaking the bank, hit up The Italian Touch in Middletown. They’ve got pizza that’s actually decent and trust me, ask Mitch - he practically lives there. Not for the pizza, though. Nope, it’s all about the beer and Jameson. Gotta love that vibe, I guess? Cheers to whatever keeps him coming back every single day.
Luray Caverns: because who doesn’t want to wander around underground caves that look like Mother Nature’s Pinterest board? You’ll see insane rock formations, a giant musical stalactite organ (yes, it plays music and no, you don’t get to join the band). Perfect spot to pretend you are “so cultured” without actually trying too hard. Go, get lost (literally), and thank us later.
