Once upon a time, there was a comic and movie metal head named Charles and a Disney and country music princess named Danielle. The two met in high school through mutual friends and it was not love at first sight. Every time they had to hang out they would bicker about music, movies, and anything else that came up. Their “friendship” quickly fizzled out in 2005 when Charles was accepted in to James Madison University and moved to Harrisonburg, VA. About two years later, Danielle began searching for opportunities to find the right college program for her and JMU's teaching program was at the top of her list. She reached out to Charles, who graciously showed her around the campus and over the next few months they kept in touch and began to visit one anther more and more. Eventually, Danielle was accepted into the teaching program at JMU and over the next few years they spent as much time together as possible. The two dated in college and that is where they planted the seeds of friendship that blossomed into love. Charles graduated from JMU in 2010 and moved to work in the big city. For nearly three years the two were together almost every weekend no matter the distance between them. When Danielle graduated in 2013, they decided to take a big step and move in together. In 2016, they expanded their little family and adopted their fur baby, Rogue. A year later, Charles decided to take another big step and ask for Danielle to be his very own happily ever after.
