We're getting married!

We met at none other than our first job- McDonald's. While he doesn't like to admit it, I eventually became a manager and was his boss. Regardless, I was too nervous to talk to him, but he never held back to make fun of my "Christmas present earrings" that I wore in the summer (they were elephants!). Our friendship turned into breakfast dates and constant texting that eventually became more when I nervously held his hand two minutes before he dropped me off after a night out together!

It was the day after my birthday and a weekend full of fun activities. The day of my birthday, we enjoyed some time with his parents with gifts and dinner followed by an hour drive to see my favorite Beatles tribute band. The next day we set out to Gull Meadow Farms with a group of friends. While navigating through the corn maze, he grabs my arm, gets on one knee and pops the question! My immediate response was "are you serious?!" followed by him saying "it's not a joke!"
