You know what they say, skiing is believing. And it all started with the Gonzaga Ski Club trip to Schweitzer. He was excited to finally meet the girl he'd had his eye on since freshman year. She had just decided "not to date anyone and focus on herself." Too nervous to introduce themselves, they just stared at each other from across the room. That is, until she eventually handed him her phone and said, "Give me your number." It only took him two weeks to ask her to be his girlfriend and two seconds for her to ditch "not dating" and say yes. The engagement story is only slightly different, with them on a beach in Hawaii instead of in the snow on a ski hill. Oh, and him taking 6 years to ask and her saying a very classy "yeah" instead of "yes."
