When is the deadline to RSVP?

Answer

The final date to RSVP is Saturday, May 10th. Any responses not received by then will kindly be taken as a no. Please be sure to RSVP as soon as you know your availability!

What should I wear?

Answer

We'll love to see our wedding photos filled with bright colors and fun prints. Think colorful summer semi-formal/formal! For the ladies, midi- to maxi-length dresses or blouse and slacks. For the men, please consider a suit or slacks and a sports coat, tie-optional. If you're stumped, feel free to google "Summer Semi-Formal Wedding Attire" for suggestions! Ladies, please consider wearing comfortable shoes (i.e., block heels or sandals, NOT stilettos). For the ceremony, we will be in a wooded area which has some uneven terrain. Be sure you can walk on a mulch-like surface.

When does the ceremony start?

Answer

The ceremony starts promptly at 4:30PM. However, please join us for a pre-ceremony drink at 4PM!

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Weather permitting, the ceremony and cocktail hour will be outside. Dinner and dancing will be in the barn.

Can I bring my kids?

Answer

While we love kids, we want you to have fun and enjoy your time at the wedding! We kindly request that kids be limited to those specifically invited by the couple. Thank you for understanding!

I have dietary restrictions. What should I do?

Answer

Please indicate your dietary restrictions when RSVPing. You will enjoy a specialized meal prepared for you by our caterer, Hilltop Restaurant.

Can I take photos at the wedding?

Answer

Please refrain from using your phones during the ceremony. While we understand that you're excited to be there and post on social media, we are also paying a professional photographer for our wedding memories. You are more than welcome to use your phone cameras during cocktail hour, dinner and the reception. If you post to social media, please use our wedding hashtag #happilyemleyafter so we can share the photos as well!
