FAQs

Question

Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

Yes! Parking is available within a short distance of the ceremony and reception locations. Golf cart escorts will be available for anyone who may need assistance.

Question

What's the dress code?

Answer

Formal Attire - Black tie optional/Cocktail. No jeans or khaki's please!

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love your little ones, our wedding is going to be an adults-only event, with the exception of our ring bearers. We chose to have an intimate celebration with close friends and family during this pandemic, and would love for everyone to relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making the arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us.

Question

Do you have a hotel block for guests? Where do you recommend I stay?

Answer

We have a block at the Glasbern Inn for the 27th and 28th. Please mention the Carandang/Egal wedding when calling to make your reservation. Alternative hotels within a few miles of the venue can be found on the Travel page.

Question

Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?

Answer

Yes! We encourage you to post pictures onto any of your social media channels. Our only requests are that you refrain from taking pictures during our unplugged ceremony. We have professional photographers coming to capture this moment so that all of our guests can be fully present.

Question

What is a Filipino Money Dance?

Answer

Male guests line up in front of the bride to pin money on her dress while the women pin money on the groom. The pinning can get creative with bills pinned together as garlands, made into crowns, or streaming down their clothing. This “decorating” can take a while if there are a lot of dancers, and guests take turns dancing with the bride and groom. Money pinned or taped onto the new married couple's garments represents a wish that good fortune be "rained" upon them, and is also a means of helping the couple financially as they begin their life together. If you would like to participate, we will have pins available at the reception, but please do not feel obligated to do so! We'll have plenty of time to dance the night away. We ask that you do bring some cash to at least tip the bartender who will be serving during the course of the cocktail hour and reception.
