Best Man
First, and foremost, Matthew Evers, my baby brother. For most of his life, Matthew was a whinny kid… Some may even have called him a crybaby… No argument would be made against someone accusing him of being a tattletale either. Growing up, Matt was always there, spying and snitching. But, Matt was also always there doing the right thing. I’m sure without my influence, he might have done the right thing even more. As we’ve aged, I look to Matt as one of my best friends and as a reference point for what is right, if I am lost. As a testament to Matt’s character, loyalty, and true friendship, this will be his third time being a best man. But third time is the charm. I love you brother, and thank you for doing this with me.
Maid of Honor
Hunter and I have always been close. I like to think that we are cousins by blood but friends by choice. She is the life of the party and is a joy to everyone she meets. She reminds me to live life carefree and to not let the little things stand between you and happiness. Twenty years ago, we pinky promised to stand beside one another and now here we are! Even while being states away, she has managed to be my side for every moment during the wedding planning process. Planner and best friend extraordinaire, I couldn’t imagine anyone else as my maid of honor!
Groomsman
I met this guy when I was 10 and it’s been trouble ever since. Rooney and I developed a friendship, through the years, where nothing about the other person ever had to be assumed. We developed perspectives on the world and on our place in it. We matured through the formative years of our youth together, with the first loves, MD 20/20s in the ditch, Marlboro Reds on the roof. Even when our opinions or perspectives did not align, conversations with Rooney are always warm-hearted, open, and honest. I miss the long talks of our past and I always look forward to the next time we get to speak.

Kailan and I became friends back in 2015. We had both just moved to the CS area and hardly knew anyone. Little did either one of us know at the time that we would be gaining a lifelong friendship. We are very similar in ways and maybe that’s why we bonded so quickly, we often even get mistaken as twins or sisters. I can always count on her to be down for spontaneous adventure and lots of laughter. She is easy to talk to and our conversations are never just surface-level. A lot of times then not, you can find us poolside in a deep-hearted conversation. Anyone who is lucky enough to get to know her will quickly find out that Kailan has a heart of gold and has a love for all living creatures...and I mean ALL.
Groomsman
I met Chuck, along with two other of my groomsmen, in Galveston, TX, at UTMB. Chuck was easy going and easy to get along with. He was insightful and generous, and had a sense of humor that meshed well with mine. The first night we met, we watched a classmate eat broccoli off of his kitchen floor and I was comforted in knowing that at least I had one guy in the class that I would get along with. From that party to this point, we’ve racked up drinking stories and experiences that could make a Hang Over 4 movie. I hope this man moves to Texas sooner, rather than later, because I need some more of those crazy stories in my life.

My Soul Sista! Karlee has always been that friend that just gets me without ever having to explain myself. She has always made an effort to be there for me and has been the epitome of a true friend. Karlee and I took on the real world together for the first time as roommates and learned that life's problems can all be solved with the music cranked up high and a late night drive. She is charismatic and always full of energy, which means there is never a dull moment with her. God knew I needed her as a friend and I am so thankful for that.

This guy. Hook started out as a friend of my brother. I really didn’t know too much about him until after I came back from Texas Tech, but once we started hanging out, I found we shared a lot of the same ideology. He was a fellow meathead and had a drive to pursue excellence or to attain his version of greatness that is rarely seen. I have always admired his drive and his determination. He will forever be a great workout partner and motivator in the gym, and might be one of the truest spots on bench a guy could get. Iron sharpens iron, and I’m grateful that I have him in close proximity, as someone that I can continue to go to when I need motivation to continue the grind.

Don't let this firecracker fool you, Megan may come off as shy and quiet but I know very well she isn't! I met Megan back in 2012. She welcomed me with open arms and a full heart. She has been just a phone call away whenever I needed someone to talk to and is quick to throw on her boots and join me on the dance floor when Ive needed a dancing partner. Not only is Megan beautiful inside and out but she is always up for a challenge and knows how to throw a good party. I can’t wait until she is back in Texas!
Groomsman
Shane was my younger brother by proxy. Growing up, I was at the Rooney house almost as much as I was at my own place. Shane was always taking stuff apart and putting it back together. He could rebuild or fix just about anything from as far back as I could remember. Through the years, he was one of the more reliable people in both Matt’s and my life. Genuinely, he would give you the shirt off of his back, and I recognize how rare that is to find with friendship of any form. He has a protector’s mentality that has ushered him to the field of law enforcement, and he is constantly in both Andi’s prayers and mine. Although we don’t hang out as much as I would like, I can’t wait until the next time we get to catch up over whisky on the rocks.
Bridesmaid
Angel is my oldest little sister, but will forever be my childhood best friend. The bond between sisters is unlike any other, ours is no different. Our relationship consists of large doses of sass, sarcasm, but always with a hug or two. She knows my qualities and my faults and has loved me just the same. She is the luckiest person I know; yet I feel like I hit the jackpot having her as a sister. She has grown to become a beautiful young woman, who is strong, loyal, and passionate to say the least. Angel has been there for me for every one of my life’s big moments and I am thrilled to continue that tradition and have her by my side for the biggest day of my life.

I smile every time I think about this guy. I met Jordan at UTMB as well. He was by far, hands down, responsible for some of my favorite drinking stories and is prominent in almost all of the good memories that I have from the UTMB days. He immediately reminded me of Matt, my brother. He was always self-less and caring and wore his heart on his sleeve. He’s the only one I know that can say that they were booked in County wearing a pink “salmon” sweater. Whether it’s kitty boxes or DDs to the face, the memories I have with this guy are epic and I’m down to make more, anytime, anywhere.

Where do I even begin?! Breanna is the original Sister- Friend. Bre and I were introduced when we were still in diapers and we have been inseparable ever since. Bre is what I would call a ride or die friend, as true as it gets! She is a good time gal and has great taste in music. Growing up we were always up to no good but the memories we have made so far will be cherished forever. Breanna has three precious babies that I adore and has entrusted me with the title of godmother to her oldest Peyton Ann!

I met Thad first out of any person at UTMB. Thad was quiet, but crazy smart. I would sit in the back of the study room and watch Thad, Jordan, and Chuck listen to music and watch WWF, while studying, only to ace the exam. My grades did not fair as well. While going through UTMB, Thad and I started golfing when we could. He always made me laugh and was definitely the underdog you wanted to bet on. He has more natural athleticism than most people I know and is always counted out on the onset. I always looked forward to his reactions to my absurdity and the reactions of others when he did something athletic that they didn’t expect. I’m looking forward to the next round of golf or casual jog, as long as it’s not at a 6min/mi pace.
Bridesmaid
At least one thing good came out of an injury, this friendship! We began hanging out when she sprained her wrist and I broke my forearm during our competitive cheer days. She taught me the importance of a good lipstick and how to perfect the poof. Taylor has always been someone I know will give me her honest and true opinion and I have always appreciated that. Tay is also another brave soul that lived with me during college, during that time, we bonded over Chuys creamy sauce, Breakaway, and Zumba.
