“Happily Ever Ellison”

Sooo it’s this girl I used to see when I was in grammar school waiting at the bus stop with my friends..The feeling I got when I saw her every time was special.. so what do all kids do when they like someone? 🤣 I probably annoyed her but thought I was charming by grabbing her hand everyday I saw her. She end up moving… I end up moving…and life moved on for both of us…many years later I was just getting back in town from my daughters AAU trip and got a call from my childhood friend of 30+ years to come to his crib for tequila and tacos.. I walk in and who do I see ? That same girl that gave me those feelings all grown up .. those same feelings came right back and we talked and laughed for hours … ok story time over… I asked myself …self ? those feelings still the same what am I gonna do?? Well the answer is I asked this gorgeous, loving, life of the party to Marry Me! -Derek Our love story is one that has come full circle. Would have never guessed that the one I couldn’t live without was the one who would “ find me” again. Although our first interaction was in grammar school almost 30 years ago I was reunited with the “ man” that was “especially made for me.” Thank you for coming back into my life at a time that I most needed to be protected and cared for. Showing me how to love again with not just words but actions and handling my heart with such intention. I never want this story to end and look forward to a lifetime with you.
