Happily Ever Ouzts

In the summer of 2016, Sam and Kara met by chance at the FOE Bike Night. Kara was a friendly acquaintance with one of Sams friends, Mark. Kara was working the event, and Sam and Mark decided to take a ride that evening. The bride and groom met, visited for a bit, and went about their evening.

After their initial meeting, some time had passed and life had drastically changed for both of us. Sam and Kara discovered after a few random run ins with each other at the High Horse that they shared several accounts between radio and beer. One day, Sam engaged Kara in a conversation about the upcoming Bike Night season schedule. He very slyly used this as an avenue for Kara to ask him for his number, so she could text him the upcoming schedule. What followed was a month of texting, visiting, and getting to know each other. Sharing laughs, life and a few lunch dates.

After more than a month of talking and getting to know each other, Sam and Kara had their first official date on April 9th, 2017 at the PBR. Sam, Kara, Brody and Porter spent an afternoon watching the bull riding, talking, laughing and making the first of many memories to come!

On April 22, 2018, Sam, Brody and Porter asked Kara to be one blissfully happy family and take Sam's hand in marriage. In true romantic fashion, Sam returned to the scene of the first date and asked Kara in front of thousands of people live and on national television at the PBR. Mr. Flint Rasmussen even got in on the excitement! Kara said yes with happy tears and couldn't have been happier to be marrying the love of her life and become Mrs. Sam Ouzts.
