Our Story

Ally and Evan first met at a college ministry night at the University of Central Florida in their summer semester of 2017. After a worship night on campus, they joined some friends at a romantic establishment on campus, also known as McDonalds. Ally was drawn to Evan's handsome smile, kind spirit, and the fact that he won ANYTHING he competed in. Evan was drawn to Ally's natural beauty, infectious and cheerful personality, and athleticism. The two stole smiles from each other as they enjoyed a late night snack. At the end of the night, they exchanged snapchat names, as two normal college crushes would do. Over the next few months, Evan pursued Ally fervently and they bonded over their love for country music, faith, and similar competitive spirits. Ally finally agreed to a first date and this time, it was in a much more romantic setting. The pair walked along Cocoa Beach at sunset, watched the Notebook, and shared their first kiss. From that point on, everything fell into place. Early on, Ally was taken aback by how attentive, committed, and passionate Evan was towards her so early in their relationship. He even bought himself a Disney annual pass to spend more time with her, even though he was not a big Disney fan. Ever since that summer, Ally and Evan have been on countless Disney dates, grown together in their faith, and continued to stay competitive in everything they do. Ally and Evan are absolutely thrilled to begin this next journey in life together as one and are looking forward to celebrating their union with you!

Our Engagement

On August 13th 2017 on the Junot dock, Evan asked Ally to "officially" be his girlfriend. He taught her slow dances he had learned from his sister's wedding and they foxtrotted and two stepped into the night. Fast forward to December 11th 2021, on that same dock. Evan had been planning the proposal for over a month, and he really wanted it to happen at that special location while they watched the sunset, which is one of Ally's favorite things to do. However, a few days before the big day, Evan called off the planned proposal because of the forecast of bad weather. On the morning of the 11th, Ally went out for the day. According to Evan, the ring was burning a hole in his pocket and he knew the time was right with her being gone. Unfortunately, the original extravagant plan was out the window, but he got creative and spent the entire day decorating the dock in his own special way. About 10 minutes before Ally showed up from being out all day, it began to pour, but not all was lost. Just as she pulled up to the house the rain stopped and the skies cleared just in time for her to see the dock lit up in all its glory. Ally began to cry as she made her way out to her "forever" standing at the end of the dock where they hugged and cried together and Evan expressed his love for Ally before getting down on one knee and asking her to be his wife. They popped champagne, celebrated with their families, and as the sky turned dark the words "MARRY ME" reflected into the night sky like stars aligned by God. The newly engaged couple shared a few dances as their relationship came full circle at the same spot where it began.
