Due to its remote location the Big Island takes COVID very seriously so it is pertinent that you take these measures in order to ensure you bypass the 10 day quarantine.

This program allows travelers arriving from the U.S. Mainland to forego the 10-day quarantine by taking a state-approved COVID-19 test no more than 72 hours prior to their last leg of departure and providing proof of a negative test result upon arrival.

Negative results must be uploaded onto the Safe Travels website prior to the last leg of your flight.
