Travel Note
Check-in starts at 12:00. The ceremony promptly begins on the hour (12:30). Please plan to arrive at least 30 minutes ahead. You can refer to the timeline below (provided by the church) to plan your arrival time: [One Hour Before the Ceremony] - Photographer, Videographer arrive promptly in the church to set up. The entrance is through the Round Room. All other entrances to the church are locked. - Groom/partner, attendants, parents, grandparents arrive in the Round Room. - Bride/partner attendants, enter through the East Room. - Photos in the church may begin. - Officiant(s) and organist arrive at Round Room. [Thirty Minutes Before the Ceremony] - Bride/partner, escort and attendants return to the East Room. Use the restroom, get water and/or light snack before the ceremony begins. - Groom/partner, attendants, return to the Round Room. Use the restroom, get water and/or light snack before the ceremony begins. - Event Staff (church facility support staff) light candles on the chancel (altar). - Event Staff open front doors for guests to enter the church. Event staff remind guests to please silence their phones, and that during the ceremony, no photography is allowed except by the hired photographers. - Guests are to enter the church through the front doors only. [Fifteen Minutes Before the Ceremony] - Sound Technician mics groom/partner and officiant in the Round Room. - 10-15 minutes ceremony start time, the wedding coordinator will come to the Round Room to gather grandparents, parents, ring bearer, flower girls, and others in formal seating and processional. - The organist and any other musicians are in the organ loft. [Ten Minutes Before the Ceremony] - The Wedding Coordinator gathers the East room party and walks them to the vestibule (front entrance) of the church and line up for the processional. - Two-minute warning is delivered to the organist by the sexton staff.
