Philip and Kelly met at a party at the art studios on Bolm Road in East Austin in late January 2015 where Philip was renting a studio space. That night Kelly critiqued Philip's art, Philip tried to teach Kelly to skateboard, and they stayed outside by the fire pit talking for hours and hours. They set up a skate date for the following Monday at House Park on 12th and Lamar and from there it was one adventure after another! (Kelly never actually learned how to skateboard.)
