4th of July Parade
Main Street will be closed down all morning and afternoon for the 4th of July parade that is held annually. Everyone should plan on walking to get around town during the day, and make dinner reservations early as this will bring in large crowds! If you are arriving on the 4th plan accordingly.
Dillon Reservoir
There are boat, kayak, and SUP rentals on the lake. Check out nearby town Frisco for lunch or Outer Range Brewery if you want to spend an afternoon there! It is about 10 minutes from Breckenridge.
Mohawk Lake
Breckenridge has some of our favorite hikes! The picture shown above is at Mohawk Lake, which you can get to by hiking Spruce Creek Trail. We recommend exploring if you have some extra time or are making a longer trip out of our wedding weekend.
McCullough Gulch Trail
This is a nice trail as well, better for beginners and ends at a pretty lake.
Breckenridge Distillery
Great food and even better bourbon. Reservations required! There are countless restaurants and bars right on the Main street strip in Breck that we love, but this one is off the beaten path so it's worth planning an Uber or free shuttle to.
Rootstalk Breckenridge
As mentioned above, there are tons of restaurants and bars right on the Main Street strip that are great. This is one of our favorites, along with Radicato, Blue River Bistro, Aurum and Hearthstone. Since this is a holiday weekend reservations are encouraged!
