Tanner and Danny met in College Station, Texas, on a dating app called Hinge (who would've thought). Their first date was at a hole-in-the-wall Mexican restaurant, and every day after that, Danny and Tanner spent as much time together as they could, which also meant inviting each other to meet the parents after only knowing each other for a few weeks. After only talking for a month, Danny asked Tanner to be his girlfriend on January 6th of 2023. He had a candlelit pathway in the woods with a bottle of wine, a blanket to sit on, some roses, and a sign asking the question. Tanner thought it was the most romantic proposal she had ever seen (little did she know he had a bigger plan for their engagement). After a year and a half of spontaneous trips, Aggie football, and late nights at the lake, Danny knew it was time to ask Tanner to marry him. On June 8th of 2024, Tanner thought it was just a normal day while Danny was busy making the proposal perfect. It started with a few drinks at a local winery in Gruene that led to Danny surprising Tanner on one knee at the Guadalupe River. Of course, she said yes and celebrated with the tubers that were floating down the river! There was also a surprise engagement party at the house filled with all of their loved ones. Danny then had one more surprise up his sleeve and booked an Airbnb in Canyon Lake, where the two could celebrate the start to their new adventure. Danny and Tanner still live in College Station and will be engaged for two years by the time they say "I do". Their love for one another continues to grow with each day, and they are excited to officially be Mr. & Mrs. Hansen on May 16, 2026.
