Hans and Erin met their freshmen year of college at Elon University. They were introduced by a mutual friend at the local bar, West End. Hans asked Erin to a fraternity date party a few days later and the rest is history!

Hans created the most well thought out proposal. He had a friend fool Erin into thinking they were all going out for drinks and dinner to celebrate his new job. Hans and Erin met after work and did some returns at Old Navy to really throw her off! Next, they went to the rooftop at Gallow Green while they waited for their friends. The host showed them to the private room Hans booked - Erin still had no idea and was completely shocked when Hans got down on one knee to propose. To surprise her even more, Hans flew in his family and Erin's to be a part of the big night. They spent the weekend celebrating in NYC!
