I had asked Mom for a small baby and was shocked when I first met you to see your were certainly not the small baby I imagined. Like your entrance into this world, you were big and hungry and that would grow into your passion to live life to the fullest. Who knew that at a young age we already shared a unique dialogue of surf-speak. I was so excited to share my love of the ocean and steal special moments for us to check the surf together. We couldn’t be more thrilled that you have found your life long partner in Hannarose who gets that zest and passion you live by. Andrew is Salvatore's brother-in-law, Andrew’s first memory of Sal: is seeing him as a kid riding a dirt bike down the side streets of Shrewsbury and me thinking, what an adventuresome and lucky dude. Little did I know, that years from that moment, we would be traveling together and later living together, as bros of course. From bonding over early surf sessions before class in Santa Barbara, to rocking out at epic concerts, we have had ourselves some Skinnigan Sundays & Murder Mondays. Turns out, I am the lucky dude, fortunate and blessed to be standing by Sal’s side on the day he says “Yes!” to a beautiful and love-filled forever.

Here is just a small snippet of their friendship, from Luke: "I'm not impressed". It's a line that I continually replay through my internal life narrative. It's become a motivator for me. As odd as that sounds. It was yelled at me the night I formally met Sal. He had known my name through surfing. And, as exhibited above, he wasn't impressed with. Which, I don't blame him for. Since that night, we've traveled quite a bit together, jumped out of helicopters together, spent a-lot of late nights talking about a plethora of interesting and not so interesting things, emotions and fears. What you get with Sal is unique and quite a rarity in this day and age of people pleasers and individuals that are afraid to be brutally honest - you get a real human being. That is his authentic self and sacrifices that for absolutely nothing. That exhibits his true emotions. Which radiates with me as those attributes are so desperately needed in our society. Loyalty, honesty and accountability are terms I don't use to describe very many people. But, I use them for Sal. Since I broke through that version that wants to head butt everyone and everything, I found a brother. One that, if you know him, truly know him, you know how fortunate you are to have him on your side. We have a very odd competitiveness between the two of us. But, that's just bc I'm older. So I'm automatically better. Sal pushes me to remain younger and I push him to age better. Like I said, brothers....
