Question

Is this hotel All-Inclusive?

Answer

Yes! We’ve chosen the Royalton for our wedding, and it’s an all-inclusive resort. This means that all meals, drinks (including alcohol), and many activities are included during your stay. You won’t have to worry about extra costs for food or drinks at the resort—everything is covered!

Question

2 RESORTS IN ONE! Explain please?

Answer

Yes, that’s correct! The venue is actually made up of two resorts in one: The Royalton and Hideaway. Both are part of the same property, but each offers a slightly different experience. The Royalton is the main resort and offers a lively, family-friendly atmosphere with more activities, dining options, and entertainment. Hideaway is the adults-only section of the resort, perfect for those seeking a more relaxed, intimate experience. Both resorts have access to the same shared amenities, and you’ll be able to move between them easily. The wedding ceremony will take place at the Gazebo, which is easily accessible from both resorts. Feel free to choose whichever resort best suits your style—whether you’re looking for a more vibrant atmosphere or a peaceful, adults-only getaway!

Question

When should I plan to arrive and depart for the wedding?

Answer

We can’t wait to celebrate with you! To make sure you’re all set for the wedding events, we kindly ask that you arrive at the resort on March 11 and depart on March 15. These dates will give us plenty of time to enjoy the celebrations together and make the most of the weekend. If you need help booking your flights or have any questions about the itinerary, feel free to reach out! We can’t wait to see you there!

Question

Can I book a different hotel for the wedding weekend to save on costs?

Answer

We totally understand the desire to find the best deals, but we’ve worked closely with the Royalton Riviera Cancun to secure a special room block for our wedding guests. Staying at this hotel not only ensures you’ll be close to all the wedding events and activities, but it also helps us with logistics and planning. In addition, the all-inclusive package at Royalton Riviera Cancun offers great value for your stay, covering meals, drinks, and amenities—so you won’t have to worry about additional costs. While we want you to be comfortable, we kindly ask that you consider booking with the group so we can all enjoy the weekend together in one place. We’re really looking forward to celebrating with you!

Question

When should I book my travel and accommodation for the wedding?

Answer

We’re so excited that you’ll be joining us in Mexico for our special day! To make sure you secure the best rates and accommodations, we recommend booking your flights and hotel as soon as possible. For the hotel, we’ve reserved a group block at the Royalton, and rooms will be available until February 1st. After that, availability may be limited, so we suggest locking in your reservation as soon as possible. If you need any help with booking or have questions about the area, don’t hesitate to reach out to us or check out the travel section of our website for more details.

Question

What are the room rate requirements?

Answer

Room rates are only effective for 3 nights minimum between March 11th and March 16th. Deadline for final reservations are February 1st, otherwise you will not get the group room rates. We kindly ask the guests to arrive March 11 and depart March 15. You are welcome to come early but the extra days will not be accounted for the group room rates.

Question

What is the dress code for the wedding?

Answer

Our wedding will be taking place by the beautiful beach, so we want you to feel comfortable but also a bit dressed up for the occasion! The dress code is semi-formal beach attire. For the guys, think light dress shirts or button-downs with slacks or linen pants (depending on the weather and your personal style). Please no shorts. No flip flops. For the ladies, a summer dress or a stylish sundress would be perfect, something flowy and comfortable for the sand! Keep in mind that the ceremony will be outdoors, so we recommend flat shoes or sandals. Sunglasses, hats, and light layers for the evening breeze are also a great idea! We want everyone to look great and feel relaxed, so come ready to enjoy the sun, sand, and celebration with us!

Question

Is the venue indoor or outdoor?

Answer

The ceremony will be held outdoor. The cocktail hour will be outdoor, and the reception will take outdoors. Weather permitting for all locations.

Question

Can I take photos and videos during the ceremony?

Answer

PLEASE NO! Our wedding ceremony will be an unplugged occasion. We kindly ask that you are present with us and do not have your phones or cameras out during the ceremony. We have professional photographers to capture all of our special moments and are excited to share the photos with you. Once the ceremony is over feel free to take as many pictures as you'd like and don't forget to share them with us!

Question

Do we need to bring a gift to the wedding?

Answer

Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift we could ask for! We are so excited to celebrate with you, and we truly don’t expect any gifts. If you’d like to contribute in some way, we’d be incredibly grateful for your love and support, but please don’t feel any pressure. If you still feel inclined to give, we’ve set up a small registry on this website for those who would like to. But honestly, just coming and sharing this special weekend with us is more than enough! Thank you so much for your generosity and understanding!
