Our wedding and reception will be at Showcase of Citrus, “Florida’s Fresh Air Attraction,” a family owned and operated 2,500 acre estate cultivating over 50 varieties of citrus that began in 1989.
Showcase of Citrus is located along State Road 27 in the rolling hills of Clermont, about 5 miles north of Cagan Crossing. It is roughly 15 to 20 minutes north of Walt Disney World property. The site features an old time country store, a petting zoo, a gem mine, and a ton of touristy Florida photo ops. Also a bar. All will be open all afternoon, if you want to explore before the wedding begins. The wedding itself will be held at the open-air pavilion across the driveway from the gift shop, by the lake.
Yes there is tons of parking available, just drive in past the store. Spaces will be reserved near the pavilion. The ceremony and reception are all in one spot!
Saturday, March 12, starting at 3:45 p.m. As mentioned above, feel free to come early to browse the store, feed the animals (they even have a kangaroo!), or buy the groom a beer. We need to leave the venue by 8:00 p.m. Don’t worry, there will be an after-party, see below.
February 15th.
Of course! Children of all ages are welcome—we purposefully picked a venue they would enjoy.
Suggested dress is semiformal cocktail party attire, but feel free to wear what you want. (Parents of young kids, there is a sandy playground—might want to dress accordingly or bring a back-up play outfit.)
Yes. Please join us down the 27 at The Friar Tuck (601 Cagan Park Ave. Suite 401, Clermont), where Johnny Snaggs-Norton will be performing.
