In August 2023, we met online—completely unaware of how much that moment would mean to us. Not long after, we went on our first date at Brick House Tavern + Tap in Sugar Land, TX. What was meant to be a simple first date turned into hours of conversation neither of us wanted to end. From the very beginning, being together felt easy. We quickly realized there was something special in the way we connected, in how naturally we understood each other, and in how quickly we felt at home in each other’s presence. As time went on, our connection deepened in the most meaningful ways. It wasn’t just the big moments, but the small ones we came to cherish most—the long talks, the laughter, the calm of simply being side by side. With each day, we built something rooted in trust, patience, and genuine love for one another. Somewhere along the way, without even realizing it, we became each other’s home. Looking back, it’s hard to believe that one night in August led us here. What started in Sugar Land has grown into a love we hold close every day, and a future we’re so grateful to share. We’re endlessly thankful for every moment that brought us here, and even more excited for all the moments still to come.
