What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Our ceremony will begin at 3:30pm. Please give yourself 10-15 minutes to get seated and comfortable before the ceremony begins. Shuttles depart from the Whites of Westport “Event Parking” lot at 2:45pm and 3:00pm. This lot is on route 6, adjacent to the Towneplace Suites hotel.

What is the dress code?

Answer

Our wedding day is a cocktail formal event. Think elevated elegant dresses for the ladies, suit and tie for the guys- dress to impress! Please note that a portion of our wedding day will take place on grass. If you are attending the Welcome Party on Friday: The Welcome Party dress code is cocktail attire. Think classy cocktail dresses, suit and tie or sports coat.

Will you be providing transportation?

Answer

Yes! We will provide shuttles from the hotels to the wedding, from the wedding to the after party, from the wedding to the hotels, and from the after party to the hotels. See Travel page for details and shuttle schedules. Please note there is limited parking so use of shuttles is encouraged. If you plan to attend the after party, please take the shuttles as there is no parking available at the Back Eddy. Please reach out to Hannah with any questions or accommodation requests!

For Close Friends and Family: Welcome Party Details

Answer

Our close friends and family are invited to join us for a cocktail party on the USS Massachusetts. We will be serving drinks and appetizers. The Welcome Party dress code is cocktail attire. Think classy cocktail dresses, suit and tie or sports coat. Boarding the ship requires a short walk up a steel grated gangway- plan footwear accordingly and watch your step! In the event of rain, the party will be held in the Maritime Museum at Battleship Cove. Your invitation will include your “ticket”. Please bring this with you to the Welcome Party.

What lot should I park in?

Answer

If you are using the shuttle from White’s or Westport, you can park in the Event Parking lot located on Route 6, adjacent to the TownePlace Suites hotel. It is before White's when heading west on Route 6.
