We have a room block reserved with the Desmond Hotel at a rate of $159/per night for August 13 and/or 14. Check in is at 3 pm. Check out is at 12 pm. Guests that choose to stay at the Desmond Hotel will have access to a free shuttle bus to and from the reception at the Philander Chase Knox Estate. To book online, follow the link to the website (www.desmondgv.com). Select "Make a Reservation". Enter dates of stay and number of rooms needed. Then click "Special Rates" and enter the group code LZW in the window. Click "Check Rooms & Rates". The group rate will populate and appear as an option. We have received an extension by the Desmond that rooms may be booked until July 23.

A 30 minute drive from Valley Forge, this is the best airport to fly into to attend our wedding.

American Airlines

American Airlines typically has the most direct flight options, as Philadelphia is one of its major hubs. Flights from Manchester and Boston to Philly are usually cheapest on American when booked in advance, but we encourage all guests to carefully review policies and seek refundable tickets in these uncertain times.

Train

Amtrak

Philadelphia's 30th Street Station is about 30 minutes away from Valley Forge by Uber or Lyft. Amtrak is a great option for guests traveling from DC and New York who don't have a car or don't want to rent one.
