What is the dress code?

Answer

Formal attire. We’re looking forward to an elegant evening and kindly ask guests to dress in formal, wedding-appropriate attire. Suits for men and cocktail or long dresses for women. Our ceremony and reception will take place outdoors in the evening, so we encourage attire that is both polished and weather-appropriate.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

We recommend arriving 15-30 minutes early to park, find your seat, and get settled before the ceremony begins promptly at 5:00 p.m.

Is the ceremony indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony is outdoors in the grass. In the case of poor weather, we have a covered back-up plan.

Where should I stay?

Answer

There are several hotels within 20 minutes of the venue. Please see the Travel tab of our website for all the information.

Is transportation provided?

Answer

The ceremony and reception are located at the same venue, so no transportation between is needed. If you are flying into a DMV airport, we recommend renting a car for the 1.5-2-hour drive. There is free parking on property. Please see the Travel tab of our website for all the airport, rental car, and hotel information.

Do you have a honeymoon/cash fund?

Answer

Yes, we've set up several honeymoon funds if you'd prefer to contribute to our adventures instead of a physical gift. You can find these in the Registry tab.

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

We're having an unplugged ceremony, so please keep phones and cameras away for the duration of the ceremony. You are welcome to bring them back out for the reception.
