While Hannah and Alec both attended Villanova University and shared a number of mutual friends, they had only briefly interacted during the two years of college that they overlapped. It wasn't until they ran into one another at the Parker House in Sea Girt, NJ during its opening weekend in May 2018 that they actually got to know one another. Alec bought Hannah a few double Spring Lakers and the rest was history.
