Downtown Leesburg
Downtown Leesburg has cute coffee shops (try Goosecup or King Street), great restaurants and the BEST bakery (a visit to Mom's Apple Pie is a MUST).
Washington, D.C.
The district is about 50 miles from our venue if you want to do some exploring. It might be a little busy due to the 4th of July, but nighttime is the best (and most spectacular) time to experience a walk around the monuments, if you ask the Max family...and you get to avoid the crowds!
Harpers Ferry
A beautiful, historic town with cute shops and great hiking. Look up the Maryland Heights Trail for a fun and challenging hike, or find Jefferson's Rock to see the view deemed "worth a voyage across the Atlantic" by President Thomas Jefferson.
Local Wineries
Loudoun County is DC's wine country, so enjoy some of the many beautiful wineries in the Loudoun Valley! A few favorites are Williams Gap Vineyard (which borders the Max house) and Bluemont Vineyards (one of the prettiest views).
Trails and Hikes
There are lots of fun and beautiful hikes to enjoy near Leesburg in Loudoun County. If you want to venture further west, you can explore beautiful views and more exciting trails in the Shenandoah Valley, too.
