Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Semi-Formal. The wedding takes place on grass, so choose your shoes accordingly :) We don't know if October weather will be 70s and sunny or 40s and overcast. Though we're working hard to keep you warm, we recommend including a layer or jacket as part of your wedding look!

Will there be transportation to and from the venue?

Answer

Yes! We will have shuttles transporting our guests from various hotels/parking sites to the venue before and after the wedding. Please let us know where you will be staying, so we can plan transportation. Email HanDanWeddingPlans@gmail.com

Will we be outside the whole time?

Answer

Yes. The ceremony and reception will both take place outdoors surrounded by gardens, grass and trees. There is a beautiful covered pavilion for dancing and a heated tent for dinner!

Can I post photos of the wedding?!

Answer

We'd LOVE to see your photos of your time before the wedding and at the reception, but we ask that you do not take any photos during the ceremony itself.

Are kids invited?

Answer

We love your kids! However, we want our wedding to be your night (or weekend) off! There are a ton of babysitter services in the Hudson Valley - and affiliated with Windrift. We are happy to recommend a few if needed.

What additional safety measures will be taken on the day?

Answer

Your health and safety is our top priority! We will have sanitizer available around the venue, including upon arrival and in each bathroom. Our seating plan has been arranged to allow for more tables and smaller groups per table. If you prefer to be seated with only your family/household members, please let us know. While we cannot guarantee this for everyone, we will do our best to respect your comfort level. We request that all guests, wait staff and bar staff be vaccinated and/or masked with proof of a negative COVID test.

Do we need to wear a mask?

Answer

While it’s not a requirement for our wedding, we completely understand and respect any guests who may wish to wear a mask on the day. Please note that we won’t be supplying masks at the venue, so you will need to provide your own.
