Things To Do

Got some extra time on your trip? Here are a few of our favorite places to eat, shop, and explore in the Asheville area! *Please remember that Asheville is still recovering from Hurricane Helene! We appreciate you contributing to our local economy while respecting our rebuild!*

Green Tea Sushi Japanese Restaurant

2 Regent Park Boulevard, Asheville, NC 28806

Noah took Hannah here to have her try sushi for the first time! This became one of our staple restaurants when we lived over on this side of Asheville. Bonus! If you're staying at the Crowne Plaza this is two minutes down the road from you!

Asheville Pinball Museum

1 Battle Square, Asheville, NC 28801

A fun place with tons of pinball machines and other arcade games. Wait in line before it opens to guarantee you'll get in- this place gets crowded!

Eluvium Brewing Company

11 Florida Avenue, Weaverville, NC 28787

For those who want to venture into Noah's hometown (and our current place of residence), Weaverville, this is our favorite brewery right off of main street. Good beers and good food!

The North Carolina Arboretum

100 Frederick Law Olmsted Way, Asheville, NC 28806

A beautiful place to walk and look at different plants and flowers. They have tons of trails too to wander further onto the property. You pay by the car so gather a group and carpool! Nearby attractions include the Asheville Outlet Mall and an entrance to the Blue Ridge Parkway.

Strada Italiano

27 Broadway Street, Asheville, NC 28801

One of our all time favorite restaurants in Asheville. They cater to dairy, gluten free, and vegan diets in addition to traditional Italian food which makes them extra amazing! Hannah recommends the vegan lasagna!

Vortex Doughnuts

32 Banks Avenue, Asheville, NC 28801

Incredible doughnuts at a cute little local establishment. And most of their selection is vegan! If you go here, just don't forget to pay for parking. They will tow (as we learned the hard way).

Pillar Rooftop Bar

309 College Street, Asheville, NC 28801

If you're staying at the Hilton Garden Inn, this is mere steps away on the top floor! Even if you aren't a hotel patron, you can still head to this bar for some craft/themed cocktails with a view of downtown Asheville. One of our favorite places to grab a drink!

The S&W Market

56 Patton Avenue, Asheville, NC 28801

Essentially a local food court, this place has 3 different food vendors to choose from along with a local ice cream shop and Highland Brewery's downtown location. They're also connected to the Times Bar next door for a craft cocktail!

Breakout Games

60 Patton Avenue, Asheville, NC 28801

We love an escape room! This is our go-to in downtown- it has some great rooms at good prices. And then you can hop on over to one of the many downtown restaurants after for some dinner!

Huli Sue's BBQ and Grill

1 Page Avenue, Asheville, NC 28801

If you like BBQ and want a unique twist head here- we'll let the food speak for itself.
