We welcome you to dress in elegant Black attire for our celebration! Feel free to wear your most sophisticated outfit, and we especially love creative accessories like fascinators or Kentucky Derby-style hats. As a gentle reminder, please avoid white fur, as the bride, bridesmaids, and mother will be wearing fur in other colors.

Absolutely! As proud natives of Western Pennsylvania, we're honoring our beloved Pittsburgh and Youngstown tradition with a delightful cookie table that will feature an array of delicious homemade treats for yinz to enjoy.

What is the dress code?

Our wedding dress code is formal/Black Tie. For women, this means a long evening gown, and for men, a suit and tie are appropriate. But please wear black.

Yes, we're excited to offer an open bar featuring a delightful selection of complimentary drinks throughout our wedding celebration. Our venue, Woodland Estate—which is both a winery and meadery—will provide top-shelf beverages for all guests to enjoy. Please note that outside alcohol is strictly prohibited, as bringing external drinks may result in significant fees for us. We look forward to treating you to an incredible array of libations that showcase the venue's exceptional beverage offerings.

No smoking is permitted at our wedding venue. To comply with our contract and avoid significant penalties, we kindly ask all guests to refrain from smoking any substances during the celebration. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in helping us maintain the venue's requirements.

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

We kindly ask that guests refrain from taking photos during our ceremony. Our professional photographers and videographers will beautifully capture every special moment, allowing us and our guests to be fully present and enjoy the celebration. We appreciate your understanding and support in creating a distraction-free, intimate experience.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Yes! Please see the travel page on our website for recommendations. We recommend staying at The Grand Resort! We reserved a block of rooms for guests at The Grand Resort. They have a shuttle service for guests.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Yes, there will be parking available at St. Columba’s and Woodland Estate.
