My name is Chelsea and I’ve known Hannah since grade 11 at Mount Elizabeth Secondary in Kitimat, BC. We truly became best friends when we moved into our little basement suite next to the University of Victoria, where we spent two years living and growing together! Some of my favourite Hannah memories are the spur of the moment dinners, drinks, and hangouts that she would bring me on with Zane. I met Zane when he took Hannah & I on our first little house search. Since then, Zane has become such a special part of my life and I couldn’t imagine a lifetime without both Zane & Hannah there!

Hello reader! My name is Ryan Blais and I am beyond honoured to be included in this special day as Zanes Best Man (TM). A little bit about myself: I am a certified ham radio operator, music lover (rarely creator), project half-finisher, and have been friends with both Zane and Hannah for about 7 years now. Zane and I first met in our Computer Engineering program and hit it off immediately, in the way that slightly awkward nerdy men do, over a shared love of learning, technology, and above all: terrible (terrible!) jokes and puns. As our acquanticeship blossomed into friendship and we started spending more time together, Zane started seeing Hannah. From the jump it was evident that these two were about as perfect for each other as you can hope. Hannah’s incredibly driven zest for life’s joys is a perfect foil to Zanes calm and measured appreciation of those same things. Over the years I have been lucky to witness their relationship grow and see how positive of an effect it has been on each others life. I am so excited for these two and can’t wait to cry my face off on the day (consider this your warning)!

I've been friends with Hannah and Zane ever since I've moved to Victoria in 2018! They have introduced me to amazing wine, food, and even the sport of curling! I can't wait to see what else they introduce me to! I am forever grateful for their friendship and I can't wait to celebrate with them!

MY name is Ross and I currently live in Whitehorse, Yukon teaching highschool STEM. I enjoy card/board games and am currently learning to disc golf and cross country ski (season dependent). My partner, Chelsea, was Hannah's former roommate and I met Hannah and Zane through Chelsea. Since then, I have become friends with Zane in my own right.

My name is Ashley, and I have only known Hannah and Zane as “Hannah and Zane”, a pair. When I met them they were both in University, both friends with my partner, already very in love, and well adored additions to my life. From deep conversations, to speakeasies, farmers markets, travel plans, and more, Zane and Hannah are there for me. Zane and Hannah are my classy and classic, foods-y and wine-y (not to be confused with whiny), adventurous and valiant, empathetic, kind, and caring friends.

Hello! Corey here, and I am honored to celebrate Hannah and Zane’s wedding day as part of the Groomsman team. As friends with Hannah and Zane for over 10 years, I have had the privilege to share many fun experiences together. From on the pebbled ice curling in bonspiels together, our famous summer ‘island bender’ weekends, and the last hurrah March 2020 ‘small gathering’ in the Columbine suite. I like to think that Zane and I’s friendship truly catapulted to the next temple (Zelda reference) after bonding over our love for the Nightwatch Coffee Lager. I am looking forward to celebrating on your special day!

When we first started working together we felt like we just clicked, we always felt like we had a “Hannah vibe.” Our favourite on-going joke with that is we are convinced we share the same brain. Since then, Hannah has become such an amazing light in my life and I am more than honoured to be apart of her and Zane’s day.

Cameron is honored to celebrate Zane and Hannah on their special day. He first met Zane in 2016 during the curling season, and they quickly bonded through the games they played together and their time at the Kelowna Summer Spiel. His friendship with Hannah began when he coached her at the Victoria Curling Academy, where he saw firsthand her dedication and talent on the ice. Through the years, Cameron has seen their connection flourish—from the early days of their relationship to the many experiences they’ve shared. Watching their love and commitment grow has been a privilege, and he is truly grateful to stand by their side as they embark on this next chapter together.

Hi, I'm Mariah! I first met Hannah and Zane through curling, and we've been close friends ever since. From exploring farmers markets and traveling together to enjoying bonspiels and cocktails, we've shared countless fun memories. Some might say I could hang out with them all day! The highlight, though, was our unforgettable trip to Iceland—soaking in hot springs, winning an international bonspiel, and being there for their diamond beach engagement. I have so much love for these two, and I’m beyond excited to celebrate their special day with them!

Hey! I’m Cameron Ewing and I'm super excited to be a part of Hannah and Zane’s big day. I first met Hannah in our first year of University (that’s so long ago now... yikes!) through a mutual friend. Hannah began seeing Zane later that year. Although we weren’t close at first, Zane and I have grown closer over time through many fabulous meals, wine nights, and other outings. On the personal side of things: I’m an avid rock climber, cyclist, and deeply interested in many aspects of computing. Oh, and food. Food is a huge part of my life, both professionally and personally. This is the strongest bond I share with Zane (and Hannah): our deep love for great flavors, creative combinations, and new experiences.
