Our wedding is in downtown Asheville in the middle of October AKA peak leaf season. Since this is a very popular time to be in the mountains, finding places to stay might be a little trickier than usual. We thought it would be a good idea to put together some suggestions for you to have on your radar as places might be booking up quick.
We will be having a welcome party in Black Mountain on Friday night (Oct. 16th) and a wedding ceremony/reception in downtown Asheville on Saturday night (Oct. 17th). Looking for places in Asheville or in the Black Mountain/Montreat area are both good options! They are only about 20 minutes from each other. We will be staying in Montreat, and will likely have some group activities/hikes planned throughout the weekend there if that impacts your decision at all.
